BLACK + FORTH
BLACK + FORTH is a revolutionary Black-owned strip mall and business incubator in Washington, D.C., created to provide affordable commercial space, education, and community for Black entrepreneurs. Founded by Angel Gregorio of The Spice Suite, BLACK + FORTH is home to Black-owned retail shops, salons, pop-ups, a business school, and a bi-weekly farmers market—designed to foster collaboration, access, and long-term growth.

Launch Moments, Community Impact, and Living Storytelling
We partnered with BLACK + FORTH to capture multiple moments of the brand in motion. From documenting the official grand opening to producing a launch video for the Black + Forth Farmers Market Kickoff Block Party, this work highlights how the brand shows up in real time, through people, culture, and community-driven experiences.
Each video combines cinematic event coverage with intentional storytelling to reflect the energy, purpose, and impact of BLACK + FORTH as both a physical space and a movement.

Brands in Motion — Launch Videos & Event Storytelling
FROM VISION TO MOTION
For BLACK + FORTH, our goal was to move beyond documentation and create launch videos that felt immersive, purposeful, and true to the brand’s mission. We approached this project in phases to ensure each moment told a cohesive story.

Discovery & Alignment
We worked closely with the Angel to understand the brand’s vision, audience, and long-term goals. This ensured the videos captured not just the events themselves, but the larger purpose behind them.

Story-Driven Production
From the grand opening to the Farmers Market Kickoff Block Party, we filmed with intention, balancing cinematic coverage with authentic, unscripted moments. Interviews, crowd interactions, and environmental details were captured to reflect the energy and heart of the community.

Editing & Narrative Build
In post-production, we shaped each video to feel dynamic, grounded, and emotionally resonant. Music, pacing, and visuals were carefully selected to support the message while allowing the people and the space to remain the focus.

Launch & Amplification
The final videos were optimized for digital platforms and embedded storytelling, designed to support both immediate launch visibility and long-term brand presence. The content generated over 10,000 views across social media platforms and contributed to broader brand awareness, including national recognition through a feature on BET.com.
